We first met at our church in 2012 and built a friendship that stood the test of time. Over the years, we laughed, grew, and supported each other through different seasons of life. By 2021, we finally decided that we wanted more than just friendship—we started dating, and it was the best decision we ever made!

The beginning of our relationship was different from what we expected. Tolu just had surgery on her foot so we couldn't go on our regular outings, but we made it work. We were given an opportunity to spend more quality time together and it made our relationship stronger.

We learned to build a relationship with God as our foundation. One of the scriptures that we live by, that kept us going, is Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."

In June 2023, surrounded by family and friends, we became engaged. With joyful hearts, we made it official at the courthouse shortly after. Now, as we prepare to declare our love before God, our family, and friends in August 2025, we couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter of our journey together.
